Giving women the tools to self-sufficiency is one of my life’s passions. You’ve seen this displayed in several of my Root Down Design workshops, such as the Women’s Carpentry 101 class that I held back in March. It is incumbent on those of us with such knowledge to make it available to those who need it the most. Someone else who lives this mission is Liz Johndrow of Earthen Endeavors Natural Building and the TERRA Collaborative, and I’m so pleased that she will be in Charleston later this month for workshop that I’m facilitating.
